Delete your Kinde business

Use this page if you want to delete a Kinde business: remove it from Kinde, delete its data, and remove access for everyone.

Deleting a business cannot be reversed. Only a business owner can delete the business.

You can only delete a business yourself if it is on a free plan. Businesses on paid plans must contact support to downgrade first.

• Tell team members they will lose access to the business

How to delete a business

To delete a business on a free plan:

1. Sign in to the business you want to delete.

2. Go to Settings > Business > Details.

3. Scroll to the Admin actions section and select Delete business.

4. Confirm the action in the dialog by selecting Delete business.

   

The business is deleted and can no longer be accessed.

What happens when you delete a business

• The domain associated with the business cannot be used again unless Kinde later frees it
• All environments, applications, organizations, users, and stored data are deleted
• Owner, admin, and team member access to the business is removed
• Connections and integrations stop working
• Other Kinde businesses you own are not affected
• Team members who have access to multiple businesses can still access those businesses

If you want to keep the Kinde domain issued to the business, do not delete it. To use your own domain instead, see custom domain.
